            Privacy-First Design: KuaFu is designed with privacy as a core principle. All video processing, FIT file parsing, and video export are performed locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your videos, workout data, or GPS routes to external servers.
        

1. Information We Collect

KuaFu is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

Purchase Information: Lifetime Pro purchase status (handled by Apple's App Store via StoreKit)
App Preferences: Overlay layout, readability settings, and language preferences (stored locally on your device)
No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, or any personally identifiable information

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our services
To process in-app purchases (handled by Apple)
To remember your preferences for a better user experience
To restore Pro purchases you have previously made

3. Data Storage and Processing

Local Processing: All video composition, FIT parsing, and overlay rendering are performed locally on your device
No Cloud Storage: We do not collect, store, or transmit your videos, FIT files, or workout telemetry to any servers
Project Data: Editor projects and settings are stored locally using iOS SwiftData on your device
User Preferences: Stored locally using iOS UserDefaults on your device
Complete Control: You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device

4. Photo Library Access

KuaFu requires access to your photo library to:

Select videos for editing and overlay composition
Save exported videos to your photo library

Important: This access is requested only when needed and can be revoked in iOS Settings at any time. Revoking access will prevent the app from importing or saving videos.

5. FIT Files and Workout Data

KuaFu allows you to import FIT files from your bike computer, sports watch, or other fitness devices. Depending on your device and activity, a FIT file may contain fields such as speed, altitude, distance, timestamps, GPS coordinates, and other workout metrics.

The current version of KuaFu overlays the following metrics when present in your FIT file:

Speed, elapsed time, riding time, distance, and altitude
GPS route coordinates for map overlays

Heart rate, power, and cadence are not supported in the current version, even if those fields exist in a FIT file.

Important: FIT files are imported by you and processed entirely on your device. KuaFu does not request system location permissions — GPS data comes only from files you choose to import. We do not upload FIT files or derived workout data to any server.

6. Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit: We use Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchase management (lifetime Pro unlock)
Purchase data is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services
No Advertising: We do not use advertising services or share data with advertisers
No Account Required: KuaFu does not require you to create an account or sign in

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information:

All data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms
We do not transmit your videos or workout data over the internet
Your device's built-in security features protect your data

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Access your data stored locally in the app (projects and preferences)
Delete: Request deletion of your data by deleting the app from your device
Control: Manage photo library permissions in iOS Settings
Opt Out: Stop using the app at any time
Restore Purchases: Restore previous Pro purchases through the app or your Apple ID account settings

10. International Users

KuaFu is available worldwide. All processing happens locally on your device, regardless of your location. No data is transferred internationally.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

Posting the new policy on this page
Updating the "Last Updated" date

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
