1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Kidper, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Kidper.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to use Kidper for personal, non-commercial parental control purposes. Under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the app's proprietary code
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose without explicit permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in Kidper
- Use Kidper in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
3. Parental Responsibility
Kidper is designed to assist parents and guardians in managing children's device usage. By using Kidper, you acknowledge that:
- You are a parent, guardian, or have legal authority to control the device usage of the child
- You understand that Kidper is a tool to assist in supervision, not a substitute for active parenting
- You are responsible for appropriately configuring and monitoring Kidper's settings
- You will not use Kidper in a manner that is harmful, abusive, or violates the child's reasonable expectations of privacy
4. System Requirements and Compatibility
Kidper requires:
- iOS 15.0 or later / iPadOS 15.0 or later
- Family Controls permission (granted through iOS Settings)
- A compatible iPhone or iPad device
Kidper's functionality depends on Apple's Screen Time API, which may be modified, restricted, or discontinued by Apple at any time. We are not responsible for changes to Apple's APIs that may affect Kidper's functionality.
5. App Restrictions and Monitoring
Kidper uses Apple's Screen Time API to restrict app access and monitor usage. You acknowledge that:
- App restrictions are applied at the system level and may affect device functionality
- Time monitoring is based on app usage time, not the quality or content of app usage
- Kidper cannot guarantee that children will not find ways to bypass restrictions
- You are responsible for ensuring that Kidper is properly configured and that settings are protected with biometric authentication
6. Limitations of Service
Kidper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- Kidper will prevent all unauthorized app access
- Time tracking will be 100% accurate in all circumstances
- Kidper will work with all apps or in all usage scenarios
- Children will not be able to bypass restrictions through system settings or other means
7. User Content and Data
Kidper stores your app selections and configuration settings locally on your device. You retain full ownership of this data. Kidper does not claim ownership of any settings or configurations you create within the app.
8. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall Kidper or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of productivity, or any other loss) arising out of the use or inability to use the application, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Apple's Terms and Conditions
Kidper is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions. You agree to comply with all applicable Apple terms and conditions when using Kidper.
10. Revisions
Kidper may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By using the app you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
11. Privacy
Your use of Kidper is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.
12. Termination
You may stop using Kidper at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify Kidper at any time without notice.
